If so, where?At transmission.
Check the underneath carefully! If it's an older vehicle, poke around with an awl or screwdriver, especially the frame, dog legs, jack points and structural sections (where body, axles, springs attach to the frame) if anything looks rusted, patched or suspicious, write it down.
Has metal rot in rocker panels and lower fender. The welding on the frame is good but the front-end was not gussetted; it was butt-welded only. The frame was cut to fit the exhaust through. Transmission looks like torque converter seal(?) leaking. The side-exhaust pipes are dummies.
Note: If no lift was available at the time of the inspection any comments made are based on observations from a prone position. As it is impossible to inspect the underside of a vehicle thoroughly without a lift, DO NOT ASSUME THAT THERE ARE NO ISSUES in this area.

Can see cracking where the roof was chopped; in the back under the glass. The magnet used to check for body filler would only stick on the top of the roof and parts of the hood; body filler everywhere. The exterior chrome is in good shape overall, just seems like lower quality parts. The rubber/gaskets for all glass is in poor condition. There was no smoke that could be seen or a cloud from the exhaust but it smells like it is burning oil. Did not set the parking brake; transmission tests done with foot brake. One time on the test drive the brakes made LOTS of LOUD shuddering noises and were shaking the car; did not do it again. The car ran 'Somewhat Roughly until it warmed up. It rode nice at all speeds but please note; the seats are VERY low. The A/C blows cool, not cold. The heater system has been removed, including the car. There is an add-on defroster only; it blew warm, not hot. The bottom of the passenger side seat has a tear. The door trim panels are in good shape but have a poor fit. The dash has been replaced on the driver's side, the passenger side looks like the origional part; has some cracking paint and what looks like rust on the driver's side under the column area (see photos). There is a back-up botton behind the grille to open the doors. The interior controls for the doors are on the drivers side only. The side-exhaust pipes are dummies. The Seller stated that he has fender skirts but there were out being painted.
